About Fidell Consulting Group (FCG)

Fidell Consulting Group was built for mission-driven teams trying to do more with less. We know the pressure of ambitious roadmaps, messy systems, half-built processes, and not enough hands to keep everything moving. That’s where we come in.

After nearly a decade supporting government agencies, climate startups, and nonprofits, we’ve seen the same patterns: smart teams with strong missions getting stuck—not because they lack vision, but because they’re stretched too thin to execute well.

We created FCG to fill that gap.

Our team specializes in helping organizations untangle internal systems, win grant funding, launch new initiatives, and get high-stakes work across the finish line. We’re not consultants who just advise—we’re the extra set of hands that helps make it real.

  • Ryan Fidell is the founder of Fidell Consulting Group, where he partners with mission-driven startups, nonprofits, and public sector teams to help them work smarter, scale faster, and deliver on what matters.

With a background in management consulting and public administration, Ryan brings years of experience leading complex projects at the intersection of government, climate, and technology. He’s worked alongside federal agencies, climate tech startups, and civic innovators—helping them improve internal systems, manage high-stakes proposals, and execute ambitious initiatives across teams and tools.

Before launching FCG, Ryan spent five years in consulting roles at Booz Allen Hamilton and Guidehouse, and most recently led strategy and operations at Pioneer Climate, an AI-powered firm supporting clean tech companies with federal grant development. He holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School and a Bachelor's in Law and Public Policy from Indiana University.

At his core, Ryan is a builder—of better workflows, sharper strategies, and partnerships that drive impact. FCG was founded to meet growing demand for flexible, high-quality operational support tailored to the realities of early-stage teams and overburdened changemakers.

  • Ben Kraus leads Go-To-Market Strategy and Sales at Fidell Consulting Group, where he helps early-stage teams build the foundation needed to reach the right customers, close the right deals, and scale the right way.

With over 8 years of experience across partnerships, strategy, and business development, Ben brings a deep understanding of how to design and execute GTM strategies that actually move the needle. His background spans B2B tech, SaaS, and innovation-focused startups—where he’s built sales engines from scratch, led cross-functional launches, and cultivated high-impact partnerships across the public and private sectors.

At FCG, Ben works closely with founders and growth-stage teams to align messaging, streamline sales operations, and bring clarity to early revenue efforts. He’s known for his no-fluff approach, systems thinking, and ability to cut through the noise to focus on what matters.

Whether guiding a GTM playbook or rolling up his sleeves to close strategic deals, Ben thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution—and is always looking to partner with teams ready to scale smart.
